I am Andrew in real life and am known by the handle name of ‘Earth’.

My first experience of Eve was in 2006. At that time you started in a pod and had to find your first ship. I failed, so my first character was quite literally lost in space somewhere. I guess the clone must have frozen and suffocated as the life support eventually gave up.

My second experience was when the community lost one of its community players, Vile Rat. There was a great fund raising event for his family and it showed that the Eve community was the best in the world.

My third experience was when the President of Iceland gave a talk about the importance of developing stories in the Icelandic tradition within Eve Online.

This is my forth experience of Eve and while I do not know what path I will be taking yet, I plan to develop my characters and have some light hearted fun while enjoying the good company of all the players here.

I understand perfectly well that behind every apparent sociopathic pilot in Eve there is a very decent person in real life. So enjoy the game playing it how ever you feel and know that I will regard all players here as kindred spirits.
