Cyberea
Known by her former name, Dr. Shibo Yashima, a lead cybernetic research scientist for what was then the CRC, was tasked with coordinating a project to develop genetic formulae. The experiment would produce the ability to access what was thought to be the Jove data network.
Doctor Yashima was a young, very tall woman with a petite build and short black hair. She attained her doctorate in the field of quantum genetics & cybernetic organisms research. Her uniform, different from that of the rest of the scientists, may have marked her status as the head scientist but was referred to in recovered records as, “the darkling”.
After a failed experiment with artificial gene manipulation practices resulting with the destruction of her entire research facility she was punished by the President during 21165 AD by means of imprisonment within the tomb of her demolished laboratory. Over time, she became nothing more than a decaying torso, until she was revived 2,092 years later in YC111 by a colonial excavation dispatch.
Upon discovery, it was found that her cybernetic cognitive processes remained intact enough to be extracted and transferred into a new body that of a capsuleer to which she was reborn as Cyberea - a seven-foot-tall synthetic human almost entirely cyborg.
A brilliant and calm person with an untoward way of being very minimalist and even a little mysterious at times. From the different situations she gets involved in, it can be seen that she has a good heart. She has an unusual connection with Vigilant Tyrannos, yet even if she were able to make a connection to it a contingent of Drifters would be summoned immediately.
彼女のかつての名は、ヤシマ・シボ博士。CRCの人工頭脳学主任科学研究員として遺伝子処方開発プロジェクトの統括を任され、ヨヴェ・データネットワークへアクセスする能力の開発実験を行っていた。
当時は、若く背が非常に高いが、きゃしゃな体つきで、黒いショートヘアの女性だった。量子遺伝学と人工頭脳生物研究で博士号を取得。主任科学者としての地位を示すためか、他の科学者とは異なるユニフォームを身に着けていたが、発掘された記録のなかでは「闇」と呼ばれていた。
人工遺伝子操作実験の失敗で研究所が完全に破壊された責任を取らされ、西暦21165年にヤシマ博士は大統領の命により、破壊された研究所の墓に閉じ込められた。長い年月を経てその体は朽ち果て、忘れ去られていったが、2,092年後のYC111年に、植民地発掘隊によって蘇生された。
発見された彼女の人工頭脳は認知処理能力がまだ残され、抽出可能であることがわかると、新しいカプセラの体に移植された。そして、身長が7フィートの合成人間「サイベリヤ」として生まれ変わった。ほぼ完全なサイボーグと言ってよかった。
頭が切れて冷静、厄介なまでのミニマリストで、謎めいた部分もある。状況が違えば、美しい心を持った女性と受け止められるだろう。 ヴィジラント・ティラノスと異常なコネクションを持つが、コネクションを持てば、直ちにドリフターの構成部隊が呼び出される。
