For many years I have been an EVE Online player and used to run a number of accounts manually without 3rd party software. I used these accounts to run my own mining fleets in ice belts. I would also allow other players to join my fleet to gain boost from my orca which never needed to dock for the duration of each ice belt because I used a charon to transport the ice from the orca to the station and return to refill. The rest of my accounts in the fleet used skiffs to mine the ice. This became a daily thing for me and made enough ISK to PLEX all of my accounts each month.
I returned to university to study a course named Bachelor of Digital Media to learn computer game development, 3D animation, movie making, digital music applications, web development, special effects and that sort of thing. Due to the amount of study I had to do I took a break from EVE and when I returned only a couple of weeks ago I decided to create an alpha account so I did not over commit myself while I continue to study.
I understand that EVE has a few issues right now but I have faith in CCP to sooner or later rectify these issues and compensate any players that may have had some major losses.
Keep up the good work CCP game devs and company. EVE has been a great game since I started playing it back in 2006 and I plan to keep on being a part of the EVE community.
Remember that EVE is a game of patience
