I haven’t been on EVE a long time at all but I’m a quick learner and I know when to listen to instinct. Saved my butt numerous times irl.
I have only one word for EVE and its forum: Brutal.
It isn’t necessarily bad. Some of it is to be expected out of a PvP game. I figure if I play this game seriously long enough I, too, could develop such a thick skin that the feelings of others can become irrelevant, even unwanted.
But I like it. The game, the forum, the online tools… it’s all very intricate and precise. It speaks to the perfectionist in me. Plus, things go Ka-BOOM!! What’s not to like?
I will just have to remember not to take my case for a generality and everything will be swell.
