Whyatever

Whyatever

I harnessed the sun
On a whim and dare
Silk cord long and thin
Held me without care
I rode through the stars
Upon midnight hour
'twixt clouds and fog
Dazzled rain shower
Through Capricorn
Cancer and
The Big Dipper as well
An eternal fall
Acquarius and Gemini too
Uninterrupted to
The moon and I flew
The Little Dipper so small
Accepted safeguarded
Prevented our fall
The sun and I
Connected as one
Till it rose majestuous
Our ride rewarded.
