The BIG Lottery is no longer actually a lottery despite the name.

BIG Games complied with the changes to our EULA and this is actually a giveaway now, although it retains the same name as the traditional old lottery.

You’ll notice in the post above there’s no requirement to buy a ticket, which means this isn’t a game of chance that you give a donation or purchase a ticket to be a part of, it’s now just a group of guys organizing a giveaway every month.

This is no different to anyone else running a contest to give stuff away…

Hope this clears up any questions.

It’s correct, it’s just a giveaway now and BIG kept the name for historical reasons.

Exactly! Every two weeks without any break or interruption. That’s dedication! - Except last year on February 29th, when the servers celebrated lagfest and BIG had to postpone the draw to the next day.

Anyway, without ticket sales and reliant only on donations it’s way harder now to keep it alive, but we are working on that! Only 10 months left till the next anniversary round… : D
