We Were In The Neighborhood [CULDS] [USTZ] is a brand new, small lowsec corp looking for a few good people who mostly just want to hang out, shoot things, and not have EVE turn into a second job.
That’s really the whole pitch.
There are no activity requirements, no mandatory fleets, no “you must have X accounts and 17 alts” and nobody is going to message you because you haven’t logged in for three days.
This corp is coming to life because I want to sit on a gate, drink a beer, blow up ships, and ■■■■■■■■ with friends until somebody finds something worth hotdropping. I want to keep things stupidly simple.
If you’re around, cool. Come do dumb stuff.
We’re interested in gate camps, BLOPs, roaming around looking for trouble, third partying things we probably shouldn’t be involved in, and occasionally dropping way more ship than the situation really called for.
If we find a ratter or miner having a peaceful evening, we may also provide them with an unsolicited learning experience.
We’re not trying to become a 500 man corp. I’d rather have 10–20 people who actually like each other than 100 names in corp chat that nobody knows.
There’s room for people who like industry too. If you want to build your own stuff, mine, manufacture, haul, do PI, or generally make ISK on the side, that’s completely fine. The idea is to help each other out where we can, not tell everyone how they’re supposed to play the game.
Mostly I’m looking for people who:
- can take a joke
- don’t take zKill too seriously
- are willing to get on comms sometimes
- enjoy PvP, or at least enjoy being around people doing PvP
- understand that sometimes the entire plan is “I don’t know, let’s go”
- aren’t going to make the Discord miserable
For members, I’ll also have a buyback, gate camp ships available for newer members, PI command centers, BPOs/BPCs and other industry stuff to help people make a little extra ISK, plus generally whatever help I can reasonably provide along the way.
Newer players are welcome if you’re willing to learn. That said, if you’re brand new to EVE and still figuring out what you even enjoy doing, I’d encourage you to explore the game a little first. We’re probably going to be a better fit for people who already have at least some idea of what they like doing in New Eden.
Older players are especially welcome if you’ve finally accepted that EVE gets a lot more fun once you stop pretending everything matters.
We have a very simple Discord. New people hang out in the public chat while we get to know each other, corp members get access to the rest, and that’s about as complicated as I ever want it to become.
