WHO ARE THE DOGS?
Running With Dogs was born and forged in nullsec more than a decade ago.
PvP has always been at the centre of what we do.
Small gang. BLOPS. Roams. Hunting. Gate camps. Small and mid-sized fleets. Alliance warfare. Capitals. Third-party fights.
If there is interesting content somewhere, we’d generally rather go and find it than sit around waiting for it to arrive.
We are part of ONLYFLEETS, one of EVE’s genuinely independent nullsec alliances.
That matters to us.
We’re independent-minded as a corp and we like flying with people who share that spirit.
We hold our own sov. We have relatively few blues. We fight for what we have. And because we aren’t buried inside one of New Eden’s giant political machines, there are an awful lot of people around us we’re allowed to shoot.
Target-rich environment is putting it mildly.
We also have an alliance that isn’t frightened of undocking capital ships.

The independent PvP is only half of why people stay.
We are not trying to build a corporation where 400 people sit silently in Discord waiting for the next ping.
We actually know each other.

Our Discord is active in-game and out. People talk EVE, gaming, life and the usual collection of complete nonsense that happens when you’ve known each other for a while.
Some of us have flown together for years.
New people aren’t expected to remain “the new guy” indefinitely.

Many of us have been playing EVE for a very long time.
Which also means many of us now have jobs, businesses, partners, children, grandchildren and assorted other demands on our time.
Some of us are even old enough to remember dial-up.
Boomers are absolutely welcome.
Real life comes first.
We use scheduled fleets so people can plan their game time, alongside plenty of spontaneous content for those with more time available.
We’re not interested in turning EVE into a second job.
But when we do log in, we want to actually play the game.
We play for fun, but we take our fun seriously.

Nobody finishes learning EVE.
Ways to make ISK
PvP is our focus, but our space gives members plenty of opportunities to fund whatever terrible financial decisions they intend to make next.
Industry, mining and PvE all have a place around our PvP activity.
Industrialists who are willing to fight when the pack needs them are particularly welcome. Someone has to build all the things we’re going to explode.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
For Running With Dogs we’re generally looking for pilots with 5 million SP and upwards.
That isn’t because we expect you to arrive as a fully formed PvP veteran. We don’t.
What matters much more is attitude, willingness to learn and wanting to become part of the group.
Ideally you’ll:
- Want PvP to be a meaningful part of your EVE life
- Be willing to fly with Corp and Alliance
- Use comms and Discord
- Be willing to learn, adapt and occasionally admit that the thing you just did was a terrible idea
- Train into useful PvP doctrines as you develop
- Consider developing multiple PvP accounts over time, although single-account players are absolutely welcome
- Want to contribute to the group rather than simply use nullsec as somewhere to rat
Experienced FCs, hunters, scouts and capital pilots are particularly welcome.
So are newer pilots who want to develop those skills.
NEWER TO EVE OR PVP?
Don’t stop reading because you haven’t got 100 million skill points or years of nullsec experience.
If you’ve reached around 5 million SP and you’re ready to get involved, we’ll happily talk to you.
Running With Dogs has always had experienced players who are willing to help newer pilots learn the ropes.
You don’t need to know everything before you arrive. You do need to be willing to ask questions, get on comms, listen, learn and actually undock.
We would far rather recruit a good newer player who wants to become part of the pack than a 200m SP veteran who never joins comms.
