EVE Fanfest 2018 and International Day of Human Space Flight

(Iceland) #1

Hello EVE! Halló @CCP_Falcon.

As you know, Fanfest`18 will start at 12th of April

I hope you know what happened at 12th April 1961.

wiki
The International Day of Human Space Flight, which is also Cosmonautics Day in Russia and other countries, is the annual celebration, held on April 12, of the anniversary of the first human space flight by Yuri Gagarin. It was proclaimed at the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly on April 7, 2011.

And i hope CCP developers and EVE players will be able to mark this memorable date, and, maybe invite Valentina Tereshkova to Fanfest.

That do you think big sister @Russia ?

I think it`s a wonderful idea, little sister @Iceland !

While we’re now aware of this, we actually didn’t plan Fanfest dates with this in mind as far as I’m aware :smiley:

Nice coincidence! :stuck_out_tongue:

Fun fact: VT’s callsign was “Seagull.”

+1 :hearts: to you if you manage to make a connection there…

Airfare to Iceland is far too much, to go to a windswept winter wonderland .

I’ll go to the south pacific instead…drink some mai thais with some girls in grass skirts and perhaps watch a stream.

@CCP_Falcon Greetings.
We hope you and CCP Games don’t forget about our celebration date.
Just a reminder.
