is there a mailing list/newsletter/other to be notified when there are free stuff campaigns (login rewards, twitch drops, etc.)?
I login to eve only seldomly, and often miss the above, so I would like to be notified somehow, if possible.

It is usually on the webpage. In the news sections. A news section is about new happenings. Such as events. Events are happenings.
Login campaigns, twitch drops and ingame and outgame store discounts are announced there.
A second source would be news window in the launcher. No need to login.
And if you login only seldomly, then i guess login campaigns are nothing for you to enjoy.
You can subscribe to their newsletter, usually ingame-events and expansions come along with login campaign rewards. They will notify you.
However, if you only log in only once in a while, why care at all? It isn’t like the stuff is super valuable or you’d need 100k more or less SP if you are not playing anyway…
apologies for the n00b question, but how do i subscribe to the eve online newsletter?
i tried to look on https://secure.eveonline.com/account and search on google, but could not find the subscription link/option ![]()
hmm, you’d need to make a ticket and ask customer support about that. I get my mails automatically because I have registered my email adress on account creation and probably didn’t uncheck some “newsletter” checkbox… no idea how you can actively subscribe to their messages if you haven’t done it right on account creation.
Some of the stuff is displayed on launcher.
You’re automatically subscribed, unless you removed yourself from the sub list (by emiling Fenris).
Funny thing: There is an “unsubscribe” link in the mails, but if you use it you only get a confirmation that you won’t receive any more mails. But no option to “subscribe” again in case you changed your mind. Or any “subscribe” button in the account management page. ![]()
The very upmost informative way is via self discovery and part of that process is jumping to a System in New Eden called Tama.
There are actually some very savvy pilots who have a very good sense of stuff.
I can also recommend that provided information service. For HighSec pilots, the primary service system would be Uedama, but you can also get serviced in Tama if you ask them nicely.
However he already gave up on logging in and does not actively play the game.
So he needs to know it without putting a hand on the game at all…for whatever reason…
The only way to dangle the nostalgia in hopes that past memories recharge that feeling that once was the grounded experience.
