How to convert item id to item name

Is there a way to convert an item id to item name ?

Use the SDE either parsing the YAML files yourself or using steve’s conversions.

EDIT: I see now you mean item_id for that you would use: https://esi.evetech.net/ui/#/Assets/post_characters_character_id_assets_names there is also a similar endpoint for corporation assets.
