I think they should nerf marauders some more. Maybe a 50% penalty on EHP to compensate for their strong active tanks.

To be honest, I have not noticed any change since I started playing here in 2023. Your poll is rather general. I can’t tell, if you are asking about PvE, PvP, ships, skills, market, or just everything in general. I assume it is everything in general, but there are some elements without balance, and others well balanced. There never will be balance overall in any complex game.

I remember SW: Jedi, Luke brought balance to the force at the end of the movie by eliminating all the Sith and since he was the last Jedi, all the man had to do was grow old and die. Having a butt load of Jedi and two Sith is never balance. The only way to balance a game is to keep it simple, but no one is here to play Yahtzee.

It may sound as if it is about everything in general, but I (and maybe some others too) suspect it may be about the balance of Marauders and/or gankers.

Personally I hate all this ‘balance’. It reeks of micro-managing the alleged ‘sandbox’.

Players will naturally gravitate towards the best ships, best fittings, etc. The idea that other ships should have to be ‘re-balanced’ under some notion that ‘not enough people’ are using them is just silly. It’s like…everyone always chooses the racing car icon in Monopoly…so, oh, lets make EVERY icon the racing car. Or nerf the racing car.

I really don’t think players want ‘balance’. I think players do want best ships. And if the ENI is overpowered and a bit fast…so what ?

Totally agree. Instead of balancing I think they should create new ships with the exact characteristics they want.

I have a Monopoly with a penguin :penguin: piece. I always choose that one. I love penguins, they’re so clumsy and funny.

I have seen people who fight over the race car and the dog. :grin: I get what you are saying, in fact, when the players find the best ship and fit, it is almost inevitable to be nerfed or completely removed from the game. Just because the developers don’t want to see wall to wall Stabbers, doesn’t mean everyone will jump off that same cliff. I like mixing it up.
