Suggestion: Add Sort By Total QTY and estimated value to asset window Keywords: sort, asset, window, quantity Note: Useful for prioritizing pickup locations
In the personal asset window you can sort by name, number of jumps and number of items, but this is only the number of UNIQUE items, not the quantity of total items. Adding the QTY of total items option, and the estimated price option, will aid in deciding which stations to prioritize visiting to collect assets.
Suggestion: The EverMarks wallet tab needs the Nearest Paragon Station info displayed in the wallet, like the LP Corporation tab.
Keywords: UI, wallet, LP
Note: The traditional LP wallet tab has this info. The NeverMarks needs it because its stations are in weird locations. Plus, it’s not clear that you can click the cards in that wallet tab because they do not look like buttons, do not light up like buttons on mouse-over, do not behave like buttons …
Suggestion: Paragon LP store needs a “Current Ship” filter.
Keywords: UI, LP store, evermarks, paragon
Note: I almost bought an emblem for the wrong shuttle.
Suggestion: Paragon LP store needs a Preview feature for the emblems.
Keywords: UI, preview, paragon lp, ship emblems
Notes: I want to see what I buy first. We can preview skins to see how they look like. Thus we should be able to preview emblems to see how they look like.
Suggestion: Complete integration of Crimewatch into overview.
Keywords: Incomplete, UI
Notes: Crimewatch flags are not automatically filtered into the overview your need force refresh by switching tabs, drone flags completely ignore Crimewatch.
Suggestion: Remember active tab of docked windows between sessions. Keywords: UI, windows, tabs, chat Notes: There appears to be no way to control which docked tab is active when first logging on. Physical order, alphabetical, whatever, each time it defaults to the same tab. If that is not the desired one then each time I have to change them. Tabs allow us to save valuable space.
Not looking to “lock” a tab, but rather just have it remember the last one used. Specifically, I use a window which has multiple chat channel tabs of which most are low activity. Every time I log in it defaults to a low activity chat tab, then I switch to the more active one to see what is going on. Every time I log in I have to repeat this process. Why?
Suggestion: Planetary Industry (PI) Templates
Keywords: PI
Note: TLDR - Allow players to create templates for PI setups that can be shared and used by others to save time and remove barriers to new players.
Setting up PI planets is very complicated, very time-consuming and presents a huge barrier to new players trying out PI. While making isk from PI is the polar opposite, making profitable planets as a new players is extremely daunting, let alone working out how to set one up with all the recipes, links, routing etc. It has just taken me the best part of 3 full days to setup a P0 - P4 setup with a lot of that being setting up all the factories.
I would love to see the option to produce, share and use pre-made templates from the community.
Scenario
I set up a simple factory to produce Oxides using Oxygen and Oxidizing compound, I set up the launchpad, all the factories, plug in the recipes and work out all the material routing. I then press ‘Export to Template’ and my whole setup is saved as an in-game link or to a text file.
I share this with a friend, they go to a planet and import my template, move it to the spot of their choosing and hit ‘Build’ and it’s instantly all set up and ready to go, all they have to do is input the materials.
Potential challenges
Planet size - the larger the planet, the greater the PG/CPU usage of the links which may cause some problems
Won’t work with resource extractor heads, these will need to be positioned manually but no big deal
Currently, the probe scanning window filters are using numerical keys as the default shortcut which can’t be changed, interfering with binding number keys to modules (which can be accidentally activated or deactivated while scanning) or other functions. Please allow us to rebind or disable these shortcuts.
Suggestion: Add loot all functionality to cargo radial Keyword: ui
Make use of the slider code used by the orbit radial to allow the player to loot the entire can with less clicks (and also add loot all to context menu below the open cargo option.) [Red triangle in the example below marks cursor position]
Image Shows Standings tab in the information window.
Keywords: ui, Add Contact, Edit Contact, Contacts, Information Window
Note: Currently there is not straightforward way to know which Label has been assigned to a contact with standings without opening the Contacts window.
The Assign Label function is very useful for organising and keeping a record of why you have assigned specific standings to specific contacts.
However an Assigned Label is not listed in the information window.
Image shows highlight bubble when mouse is over Standings Icon.
No where in the information panel does it show what Label has been assigned to a capsuleer or organisation.
To discover which label has been assigned I must open the Contacts folder and search for the contact.
The Contacts folder lags (understandably) and is therefor unwieldy and is for the most part to be avoided.
Suggestion: Please differentiate the colour from grey in cases where the Neutral Standings label has been actively assigned.
Keywords: ui, Contacts, Standings
Note:
Currently the category in Standings labeled ‘Neutral’ (grey coloured) does not accurately reflect it’s assigned designation.
The so named ‘Neutral’ category encompasses two designations, ‘True Neutral’ (player assigned standing) and ‘Unsorted’ (Default category applied to all listings).
Neutral represents ‘Unsorted’ in cases where the Standings Label ‘Neutral’ has not been selectively assigned by the Capsuleer.
Where the label ‘Neutral’ has been selectively assigned by the player there is no colour differentiation and no sensible way of determining a difference.
Please differentiate the colour between cases where the label ‘Neutral’ has been selectively assigned and the regular ‘Unsorted’ listings that appear.
Colour suggestion: yellow, green, light brown, variant of grey, something to show the difference.
Image shows current colour designations for contacts that have been assigned a standings label
As and Aside: Eve is a game reliant on the gathering and exchange of information. If I have gone to the effort of categorising and labelling contacts I expect that I should be able to reasonably determine this effort.
As it stands when I fly into a system I am unable to determine whether I have applied a Neutral designation to a listed pilot or whether that pilot is unsorted. Not all Sorted pilots have good or excellent standings, nor bad or terrible standings. Some are familiar and have been labeled ‘Neutral’ and I wish to know where this is the case and where it is the case that a listed pilot (or organisation) remains ‘Unsorted’.
Suggestion: Allow us the alter the output container/hanger of any manufacturing/invention jobs Keywords: Industry, manufacturing, invention Notes: being humans we someone make errors in where we direct the output of a manufacturing or and invention job. It would be nice to allow us the alter the output container/hanger of either of these styles of jobs after hitting submit
Suggestion: When you’re invited to a fleet, and you’re already in a fleet. You should get a popup saying "Do you want to switch fleet? YES/NO. So that you can instantly switch from one fleet to the next from an invitation.
Keywords: Fleet, UI, quality of life
Note: This feature should of course be optional so that you can turn off fleet infvitation if you are on a important fleet.
Suggestion: Directional Scanner “hover function hotkeys” that work in the entire window to change the AU range and maybe also the angle.
Keywords: UI, quality of life, D-scan
When using the D-scan to search for targets you change the AU distance every second to find what range targets are at. Right now you can hold your mouse cursor in the “red box” and scroll to change in increments of 0.1AU and hold down “ctrl” to change in increments of 1AU.
Something similar should work in the entire window “yellow box”
Ofc you still need to be able to scroll in the D-scan window “yellow box” if there is a lot of things. but if ctrl is held down in that area it could behave just as in the “red box” and change the D-scan range in 1AU increments and maybe also holding down “alt” and scrolling would change it at 0.1AU increments. Maybe even hold down “shift” could change the angle.
Probe scanning in the solar system map already has similar “hover function hotkeys” for “ctrl” “alt” and “shift” + scrolling. Taking inspiration from that function to make D-scanning better would be really nice.
