Suggestion: Multi-Contract
Description: Exactly what it says. Allow me to make multiple contracts at the same time instead of having to put 200 Sabres on corp or alliance contracts one by one. Bonus if I can multifit & multicontract in one go.
Suggestion: Ability to sort Assets locations by ISK Value.
Would also make botting/scripting easier. I think a radial menu shortcut would be a good middleground, if you could hold click on watchlist and assign drones.
Suggestion: Left click toggles between module on and off in fitting simular, shift-left click toggles between offlining and overloading the module in the simulator
Keywords: UI, fitting, simulator, overheat, offline
Notes: I get frustrated when trying to build new fits because left click cycles between all 4 modes, and shift-left click cycles the opposite way as if thats better
This is possible using batch fies “.bat” please reply for instructions.
There’s a button in between rig slots and high slots that lets you simulate overheating the whole rack FYI
Suggestion: Ability to see total skill points in a skill queue
Keywords: ui, skill queue, injectors
Note: Useful for calculating how many injectors would be required
The skill queue only shows time which is irrelevant when using skill injectors. Time also changes depending on implant fitting and accelerators. Having total SP in the queue would allow users to see how many injectors would be required to clear it
Suggestion: The Opportunities HUD element needs a “Untrack All” option under the O icon (similar to the menu under the A Route context menu).
Keywords: UI, Opportunities, tracking, untrack
Note: Since the Opportunities aren’t automatically untracked after completion, you have to manually untrack them one by one. That should be more convenient.
Suggestion: Opportunities need a “Claim Reward” option in the right click context menu, as well as “Claim All Rewards” under the O icon (in tandem with the previous suggestion, a new context menu similar to the A Route context menu) is added to the game.
Keywords: UI, Opportunities, rewards, claiming
Notes: It should not be necessary to open the Opportunities window to claim rewards.
Suggestion: Autoclaim Rewards on completion
Keywords: UI, projects, opportunities
Note: stop frustrating the players
All those ‘Rewards’ should be claimed automatically on completion… this manual claiming is stupidly annoying.
We have the ability to toggle individual module overheat status with a modifier key, such as Shift + F1, or whatever you may have bound. What we need is the ability to bind a similar key to trigger nanite repairs for a damage module, such as Alt + F1, for example. Having to right click modules and select the option to repair them from a dropdown menu seems like an oversight and makes the PvP experience a bit worse than it should be.
Were you trying to suggest something?
Suggestion: Add an AFK flag for corporation / alliance channels
Read the OP @Jamenki
Suggestion: Add Short Cut Allowing Player to Leave Fleet without Right Clicking | Add Way to Create Fleet from Last Known Members
Keywords: ui, fleet
Note: For Multiboxers the Fleet Mechanics really needs some love. For one, we need to leave fleet with our alt army having to find every name, then Right Click Leave Fleet. Add a Short Cut option for “Leave Fleet”.
Additionally, add a way to “Add Same Members To Fleet”, this would be amazing addition for multiboxers.
Suggestion: Custom HP warning sounds or speech
Keywords: ui, hp, warning, sound, alerts
Note: Useful for clarifying where your HP is at and on which character
After many years of playing this game I still get confused as to which screeching alert means what. Aurora saying “Shields Low” or “Armor Low” or “Hull Low” would be amazing along with the ability to pick different sounds per character or account.
Can someone explain why only on the rarest of occasions stuff from this thread gets implemented in the game?
Instead the patch notes are like “Minor Shadow Improvements on Structures” which nobody has asked for. They also tweak the expert systems which nobody uses, and then update some icons. Why is CCP like this?
If you look right back and at this thread on the old forums, I think you’ll be surprised at how many small qol improvements over the years started as a suggestion in these threads.
I don’t know exact numbers, but there’s certainly been a few.
A lot fall by the wayside due to a number of factors.
EG: the suggestion is bad (that takes care of 99% of suggestions).
OR
The suggestion is good but implementing it would require substantial dev resources.
OR
The suggestion is good but would only benefit a very small number of players.
OR
The suggestion is good but the devs just don’t have the time to dig through old spaghetti code and figure out how to make it work
OR
They tried to implement an idea and something in the game irrevocably broke due to the changes (see also early attempts to completely remove all the POS code. The game simply borked).
Plenty of reasons.
Why certain things happen that seemingly no-one has asked for? I have no idea. I’m not a ccp dev.
The post must be formatted properly as described in the OP, to be copied automatically into developers QoL backlog for triage
Failing to format the post accordingly is a waste of time and one’s good intentions…
They say, Hell is paved with them
I can asure you one of my PI QoL requests has been satisfied The one asking for better visibility of other ppl CCs…
Suggestion: Toggleable auto stacking function of cargoholds
Keywords: settings, inventory
Note: Setting while toggled on will automatically stack like items together
Lot more unnecessary work condensing stacks of ore after each compression or salvage after clearing a field. The noctis in particular can salvage so rapidly that it will easily hit the item stack limit without being anywhere close to full on cargohold space.
