The nerds got upset because they had to wait 15 minutes longer haha. Anyone with experience with previous patches knew that it would probably take longer today to fix many of the reported bugs.

All we are getting is a lesson in patience and showing CCP we care through forum expression.
I have been playing online games for 40 years, you have been around like 20 and you have things you over look like broken links on your web site for omega game. If not for Markee’s web site I would have been gone. You all really need to get your ■■■■ together if your going to survive the gaming industry.

That’s abit extreme it would have to be something both physical and majorly corruptive to a catastrophic degree for something like that to happen.
And even then that operates only under the assumption that they have no safeguards or backups inplace incase of such an event?

works - at least partially, when useing vpn but pretty instable. (only got a free vpn xP)
is eve offering a included vpn with omega to play the game?
Edit: worked again after 1-2 and a launcher update (which only went through with vpn).
That is the sort of attitude that has us where we are now.
- POS code.
- Brain in a box not doing proper garbage collection so 20-40 jumps and it drops to a crawl.
- 300-500+ battles being as crap now as it was on a dual core with a GTX 8800, when you CTRL + SHIFT + F9 (Why can’t we turn off ship rendering when we zoom out to the point we can’t see them? Why can’t we load bubbles, explosions and collison spheres in CTRL+SHIFT+F9 mode?!)
- GUI settings not saved server side for returning players.
Instead, they produce EVE Frontiers when crypto games are already a long dead fad and keep building code debt in EVE Online.
P.S. They wouldn’t need daily restarts if they used Linux, like most of the rest of the world (including Microsoft) does for their servers, not to mention all the other benefits that would come with it.
Small businesses have VPN, don’t see why CCP couldn’t have one between their client and their servers.
