Tried this, and failed

I’m not at all used to shooting-games, it’s the first time ever i tried one and i tried it just because it’s part of eve. Otherwise i wouldn’t even bother.

First time installation failed as i was typing in the web browser when some box appeared and that box immediately disappeared again. I may have pressed some key being a shortcut in that window? Then when trying to launch, it said some anticheat was not installed. Instead of just exit, it should have offered to install it or otherwise fix the issue.

I looked around a good while how to re/uninstall, thought it would be in windows control panel as usual, but no… A FAQ indicated it would be in the eve launcher cache (!?!) but.. no. not there either. I found it elsewhere in the launcher after going through a bunch of options there. Very unintuitive.

Reinstalling without typing anything during this time, imo a lot of unnecessary stuff and multiple agree-boxes which made this feel quite uncomfortable.

It started with lots of blurry grey animated pointless nonsense which i let run for about 30 sec until i found it could be skipped with spacebar. If there’s any purpose with that animation, get to the point much sooner.

Shooting at some robocop’ish ai’s was difficult as it didn’t want to aim properly, aim went upwards all the time.

I managed to reach a blue gate of sorts, with a 4-digit code, but there’s nowhere to enter that code so i got stuck there. Looked around a bit, couldn’t figure it out and then uninstalled this thing.
