What did I do to CCP other than give them my RL ISK?

Given their recent track record, it’s probably something CCP considers then :scream:

There are a lot of stupid things in your post that id like to address here.

They do it for both the kill and the loot.

But the thing is, a lot of people use Ceptors to haul small, but expensive stuff. The reason being, they are very fast and hard to catch, and therefore ideal at moving small things around when you dont want to use a jump freighter for something that is 2.0 m3 in size.

This is the potential pay-off for smartbombers.

Logically, and reasonably, this makes sense. Plenty of things are expensive that are also really really small. Ceptors make ideal movers for small things through nullsec, where bubbles are always a huge problem. Therefore, smartbombers target ceptors.

Yes, and they weighed it towards PVP. Eve is a PVP-centric game.

Sorry if it took you 8 years to get the memo.

Well, no, it does make “since”(Read: sense). It makes a lot of sense.

Smartbombing ships are a very specific type of ship. They can, as you say, only target smaller vessels. They are absolutely USELESS against larger ones.

This “Advantage” against interceptors also provides a “Disadvantage” to all other ships.

You, actually have more of an “Advantage”. You have cruisers, battlecruisers, and battleship, along with capital ships, that you can use, and win, against this smartbomber. Your Ceptor is also very very strong against most other ship.

The fact that you chose a ceptor and lost, is your fault. You chose your ship. You chose to accept the mission. You knew it was in nullsec. You knew smartbombing battleships could ruin your day.

All the advantages were in your favor. All the choices were made by you.

You failed.

Dont cry to CCP because of your own failings and shortcomings.

In empire space, sure. Thats why concord kills you if you gank in hisec.

In nullsec? No. Those are not controlled by the empires and companies, and therefore they have no pull with Concord.

you might as well be asking for help from the US military while you are in the middle of china.

Cool.

So youre solo roaming.

Fighting a 1v3 at a gate.

Your immense skill is making it so that you are just barely winning, even though you are outnumbered.

Suddenly, your opponent calls in concord.

You die.

Recap:

You were outnumbered. You still managed to hold on and were winning the fight. You were doing great. Then bam, Concord comes in, tips the scale and you lose.

What a stupid, bull$hit senseless mechanic.

So, what part of this is rewarding PVP players?
