8 Updated Golden Rules for EVE (Despair version)

Be Able to Afford (many) Losses
• You can do anything you set your mind to when you have vision, determination and an endless supply of alts.

Consent to PvP (or stay docked)
• The journey of a thousand light years sometimes ends very, very badly.

Everyone Can Scam (but you suck at it)
• Born too late to explore the world, born to early to explore the stars, born right on time to get scammed with an ISK doubling scheme.

Experience Matters (not)
• Failure is the greatest teacher, and we’re learning so much just by watching your zkillboard.

Bigger is (always) Better
• The bigger the fleet, the lazier the effort.

Use the In-Game Info
• If thing were truly getting better all the time, it wouldn’t hurt so much to remember the old launcher.

Unfair Circumstances (yes)
• It could be that the purpose of your wreck is only to serve as a warning to others.

You Will Lose Stuff (worry)
• The pain you feel today will be the strength you feel tomorrow. Or you could biomass your clone. It’s hard to know with these things sometimes.
