Mercurialis Inc. was founded on October 28, 2002, during EVE’s closed beta, before the official launch. As far as we know, and as far as the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2008 knew when it listed us as EVE Online’s Oldest Player Corporation, that makes us the oldest active corp in New Eden.
I’ve spent the last few months putting together a full timeline of those 24 years, and it’s finally live:
It’s pieced together from old forum posts, DOTLAN records, killboards, and screenshots people never deleted, so it’s incomplete by nature and still growing. If you flew against us, alongside us, or just remember something from one of these eras, I’d genuinely like to hear it, corrections and old media included.
