I would not know, I wasn’t here, just repeated what the Wikipedia stated. Dust 514 on Wikipedia
I learned something new ( for me ) today. My alt account that was doing PI last month as omega, now alpha and it is still actively farming. It seems they only turn off the import/export features. Scanning is inoperative, but the farms continue to collect and store as long as the space is available.
This month I added storage, expedited mats to them, and removed empty lauchpad. When the storage gets full I can reduce extractor heads and place more storage units. Eventually I will need to return the account to omega, export all the stored mats to orbit, in order to sell them.
What I found most surprising, was having access to these planets at all. My character’s skill governs how much power is used and the total number of planet I maintain. It seems I have full control over all 6 planets per character.
