Not Alpha’s. It has to do with Social behavior also. They probably should not have any access outside Exordium as well. Both pods and Shuttles can be used to quickly log in to a system and check economics for example, with widespread misuse may I say, just behind the door at that point.

Ok, I didn’t take that into consideration, it would be almost a full reversal, with a really expensive scenario for the maintainers. I’m taking Eve real life economics into consideration as well.
I’d prefer more people would buy Omega to play, and Alpha get a free-demo experience, which can sit in one node only.
If this works the way is intended, more money will flow into Omega, and eventually Eve economics, could resurrect, both digitally and for the creators.
But with the current times, it might be too late to implement both actions. There’s some bold decision making process that could get very good slowly, or very bad quickly…

It must be pondered, that’s the only thing sure, so more Open dialogue can only bring some benefit in the long run. Do not shut all doors too early.

FYI Alpha accounts are not allowed to gank. They cannot set safeties to red.
Alphas have very little impact on the economy. They cant trade, or if they do, a lot of isk is lost compared to omega.
If an Alpha with its very restricted options can outperform or even defeat an Omega in any gameplay aspect they fully deserve their victory. 
Social behavior is absolutely the last thing that game mechanics such as this should be policing. If an Alpha clone wants to go into null, 100% they should go into null. If an Alpha clone wants to fall for a Jita scam, by all means let them check out Jita chat.

Alpha clones drive demand for PLEX. Omega/Paying players buy PLEX and sell it to Alpha players who want to buy Omega without spending real money. Developers get more money this way, although through pockets of one moderately sized group of dedicated Omega players, as PLEX that would buy you 1 month of Omega costs more than buying it directly via subscription.
Basically, Alpha PLEXing an Omega status nets FCCP more money than this Alpha buying it directly would, even though this Alpha in question pays nothing, because that’s just how Eve’s market works.
Tl;dr Alphas create demand for PLEX and FCCP makes money from this, meaning what you want will never happen.
