How was this done again was on the old forums at one point but I cannot find this any more. Any help is greatly appreciated.
There is a shortcut key-binding I can’t recall, but you can bring brackets back by undocking and clicking on the three horizontal lines on the top left corner of your overview window, where celestial icons, distance, speed, ships and names are.
On Windows -
C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_apps_eve_sharedcache_tq_tranquility\settings_Default
(replace NAME with your username)
Add the following line to prefs.ini -
bracketsAlwaysShowShipText=1
There was a disclaimer stating that this was an unsupported addition so use at your own risk.

Oh. Can anyone tell me what exactly this adds? I assumed it was just a normal brackets question.
