Calling a Dev! (Graphics .gr2 format change?)

SOLVED!

Soo, I had built a repository of 3D models with triexporter, but any new models (Starting mid concord ship line) no longer work in triexporter or any .gr2 file viewer, I read something about a possible new compression technique, but I am unsure. Is there any way around this new problem? (Or is it an intended feature to protect IP?)
