CCP - Increase the sound volume when zoomed out!

I think there should be an option to keep the sound even when u zoom out.
Or at least it doesnt go mute with just a shot zoom out.

How is it a bad idea to give more control over volume levels?

The only thing about this is there is probably an abstraction in the code and making your ship audible from a distance may make everything audible from a distance.
