Question about the rules of the Character Bazaar branch.

I saw in a couple of character sale threads that people write “I will pay for the character transfer”.
Is it possible for the buyer pay transfer fee? If the seller cannot do this.

D. Purchasing and sales

1. Down-payment plans are not supported by CCP Customer Support. As a seller, you are agreeing to a certain amount of ISK only, which is to be paid in one payment. Once again, any forms of scams regarding character sales are strictly prohibited.
2. Agreements on the forums or in game, or winning an auction does not guarantee a character will be transferred to you. The seller may choose to renege on a deal at any time, prior to the transaction being completed.
3. Whenever a character is transferred before the seller has moved the ISK received from the sale to another one of their characters, the Customer Support team will return that ISK to the rightful owner. The buyer cannot expect to receive both the character and the ISK that they paid to purchase it.
4. The ISK that a buyer sends when attempting to purchase a character is considered to belong to him until such a time as the character being purchased has been delivered to the account of his choosing. If the character sale is not completed, the ISK must be returned in full to the potential buyer.
5. Customer Support will not remove bounties placed on characters either as part of a sale, or after they’ve been transferred to a new owner.
6. The owner of the character being sold is responsible for paying CCP the character transfer fee.

Never mind frosty though asked me to step in n to ask you on this topic subject something and we hope you’re having a great day as same as we, well the question Frosty has currently is;

The support page states that the transfer fee must be paid via credit card or PayPal but it still didn’t answer our good friend the Original poster’s question.

It is a question that had been on our minds too for some time and please excuse my word salad here above but does that include the buyer who wants the character can or can not accept to pay for transfer fee in dollars?

I mean, CCP is never going to know where the dollars came from, they just care that its paid without any kind of account sharing shenanigans, so while technically not allowed, its one of those “If they don’t know they can’t really enforce it” kind of moments as the account holder is still the one paying the fee

Ask the pilots posting this how they plan on covering the transfer fee. I’m certainly curious.

Can’t we just bring back paying for transfers with PLEX ?

Probably not cause they dont want to manually have to do it. Hard enough doing it for all the russians

They don’t have to. Using PLEX and its predecessor was perfectly simple and automatic until it wasn’t. My twelve year old could code that in an afternoon to bring it back.

As with so many other things with this game, it was a lie to force players to use cash.
