What Is The Enlightened?
The Enlightened is a fully player-created faction, inspired by the structure of the four empire factions (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar) β but entirely player-driven.
We operate with:
- Our own developing lore & identity
- Player-created institutions, jobs, politics, and conflict
- A shared vision of building something larger than a single corp or alliance
This faction is being written in real time by the actions of its members.
Lore & Roleplay (Light, Optional, Encouraged)
Yes β this project is lore-based and lightly RP-inspired.
- The factionβs story is written by me using official EVE lore as a foundation
- Members can participate in:
- Character development
- Political roles
- Criminal, military, or civilian identities
Important:
You are not required to roleplay.
However, playing along β even lightly β helps make the faction feel alive, and is strongly encouraged.
The Vision: A Living Capsuleer Society
The goal is to build a functioning capsuleer society, not just a PvP or ISK machine.
Citizens & Jobs
Players act as citizens, not just pilots:
- Industrialists

- Police & border patrol
- Traders
- Explorers
- Criminals & pirates
- Politicians
- Mercenaries & bounty hunters
Citizens receive pay for their work, which they can spend on:
- Ships & fittings
- Fashion & implants
- Boosters
- Pilot services

- Gambling & entertainment
Collective Economy
- Loot, materials, and production feed into the faction economy
- The faction acts as a collective storage & production system
- Everything produced goes back to the citizens
- Extra ISK is reinvested into:
- Special ships
- New Eden Store
- Infrastructure
- Welfare & recovery programs
The individual supports the faction.
The faction supports the individual.
Law, Crime & Conflict
Yes β crime exists, by design.
Law & Order
In Enlightened-controlled space:
- Certain actions and goods are legal or illegal
- We maintain:
- Police forces
- Border patrols
- Internal security
- We maintain:
Punishments may include:
- Fines
- Confiscation
- Destruction of illegal assets
Criminal Gameplay
You can be a criminal.
- Pirates, smugglers, syndicates, mafias
Criminal groups fight:- The government
- Each other
- Criminals must rely only on what they steal, plunder, or produce themselves
If criminal threats grow too large:
The military responds

The Enlightened uses a representative democratic system.
- National & district politics
- Foreign policy
- Corruption, influence, and power struggles
- Political parties formed by players
Elections every X months/years - All citizens can vote
- All citizens can run
- Good and bad leaders alike
Politics shape:
- Laws
- Economy
- War & diplomacy
- Direction of the faction
Trade, Services & the Wider Cluster
We aim to establish a major open trade hub, accessible to all capsuleers.
Planned institutions include:
- Freight & logistics corporations
- Structure deployment services
- Mercenary association
- Bounty hunter association
- A contract board
The goal:
A single hub where capsuleers across New Eden can find services and connect + be relativly safe. If concord will not respond we will!
Where We Operate
- For now β High / Low Sec: Minmatar space
- HQ in a 0.5 high-sec island
- For now β Faction Warfare: Supporting Minmatar
- Wormholes: Roaming operations (ownership planned later)
- Going to operate β Nullsec:
- Great Wildlands
- Vale of the Silent (future home region)
