“People still think it’s different” because CCP manages to be inconsistent with their approach roughly 1/4 of the time.
For instance, CCP language is normallly something like “available until June 3” and that usually (but not always) means “until downtime on the morning of June 3”.
In this case, they used “ends on June 3”, which people would usually think means the same thing… as you just implied. Except it’s not. People are still claiming the 7-day Omega today, as of 5 minutes ago. So “ends on June 3” either means it ends at some unspecified hour today, or that it actually ends at downtime on June 4.
Not only that, but if you activated it yesterday (as I did), in order to get the 15k Free Omega SP on Tuesday after downtime… well apparently that doesn’t work either. It’s available for ‘regular’ Omegas but multiple “7-day” Omegas are reporting that the 15k SP isn’t showing up in NES.
And that’s why people keep questioning it. Because apparently CCP stands for “Can’t Communicate Properly”.
