Are the ‘Buyback’ prices based on in-game Market prices?
If so, are the ‘Buyback’ prices based on the clients Regional location or an average of all in-game Market Region prices?
Are the ‘Buyback’ prices synced with in-game Market price changes?

Hello DMC o7,
Yes, the buyback valuation is based on Janice market data, and then we apply our buyback percentage to that value.
This also means the valuation stays current with the market instead of relying on a manually maintained price list.
One thing we deliberately decided as a company is to accept the Janice valuation as it is, even when it may not always be the most favorable result for us.
For example, imagine an item has a Jita buy order of 1,000 ISK for the first 500 units, but the next available buy orders are only 300 ISK. If someone brings us 10,000 units, Janice can value those 10,000 units based on the higher price level.
From a business perspective, that can obviously work against us, but that’s a trade off we are willing to accept.
Our philosophy is simple: if the customer gets the better outcome because of the way Janice calculates the value, that’s fine.
We want the system to be transparent, consistent and as customer friendly as possible rather than constantly adjusting the rules in our favor.
Our buyback percentages are also publicly available on our Discord, so everyone can see the current rates for themselves. There are no hidden percentages or private pricing rules:
