Could not connect to the chat server at
After a long break of about half a year, I re-downloaded the game and encountered this problem: the chats don’t work, and I can’t see the local area. This has been going on for 4 days.

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?
If you live in Russia, they block cloudflare that is needed for chats in EVE, this might help - Releases · Flowseal/zapret-discord-youtube · GitHub ( I usually activate “general (МГТС)” )
I can’t eve launch EVE client without this thing…

Game dc’ed. When I relaunched a pop saying “Could not connect to the chat server at live.chat.eveonline.com:5222. so I relaunched, I even updated my drivers and software cleaned up my cookies, restarted the computer. Same thing, but also some skins I had bought for my redeemer are missing now, sop I am not sure if there is anything else that came up missing.
