Woodpecker Bloc: Initial Pledge

People of Gallente and New Eden,

President -to-be Alix Moreau has won the emergency election popular vote by 34.8%, about 1/3rd of Gallentes trust in Moreau’s vision. Candidate Soraya Roden carried 34.0% votes and Senator Lucas Tenzin carried 31.2%. Gallente’s people are as divided as ever.

Depsite the division, President Moreau’s inspiration, Senator Tenzin’s humility and Candiate Roden’s conviction show a deep wellspring in the Gallente People to desire change. Both Moreau and Tenzin’s campaign have inspired me to see them both work together to greater and better guardrails and progress, both in welfare and prosperity, of the Gallente People. I hope to see President Moreau extend a position within her administration to Senator Tenzin, or at least acknowledge them as an equal.

Capsuleers across New Eden have shown a great capacity to do great good, just as harm, for the people of Gallente, regardless of their motivations. It is in this solemn promise to the Gallente People, be it baseliner, capsuleers, warclone or sapient, and those sympathetic to the Gallente People’s plight, initiate the start to a new ideological political bloc idolize by an ancient Terran Woodpecker.

To promote community and trust, to coalition despite difference, and uplift one another from all walks of life to build towards a better Gallente society. I alone cannot do this, so I turn to you all, to consider, to make a pledge.

This one is interested about that. Moreau and Tenzin ideals are good for the Gallente Ideology itself. Despite tensions rising (and already expecting an escalation, not surprising), this new administration has the potential to enstablish a new political view to progress and peace. War is an obsolete form of competition, nowadays.

Beyond Gallente affairs, I am drafting up a post, similar to this one, to invite Humanist, Humanitarians and anyone who gives a damn about the cluster, to join up and work together as loosley affiliated humanitarian organization.

I agree. Philanthropy has its place. Money can make people move.

It is important we have people with convictions to the cause. For some, moving money is their way of helping. I ain’t a politician, just a crusty bitter ORE miner who’s been cursed with immortality.

However I know that grease, money, can help keep the gears on turning.

Don’t ask me for finacial advise. Gambling on Fedo Fighting aint financially sound.

Correct. They are the President and damn well better still be the president. I have no idea what Roden is doing but it may as well be sedition.

And humanity sakes, if the black eagles, FIO, disappears President Moreau by some measure.
