I had recurrent crashes in the past days. The game freezes and if i dont force to close the game, it will stay like this for 5 minutes and crash.
I am on mac OS High Sierra
May not be relevant, but I had something similar - try reducing your graphics settings to the minimum, see if it makes a difference.
