+1 for this issue, I’m on a 3090Ti (driver version 527.56) and i9 12900k, max graphics settings.
There doesn’t seem to be any obvious trigger for it, I get flickering on station interiors and exteriors, stargates (including conduits in abyssal sites), objects in space like asteroids and the structures in the winter event sites, and occasionally ships themselves. Re-logging temporarily fixes it but it returns after session changes. It happens on both of my accounts.
Same issue for me on rizen 9 / 3070 ti laptop
Fixed outside flickering by setting shadow quality to medium but the loss of quality is huge
but flickering continue on npc station interior
Please ccp fix it.
Just returned to EVE after a long hiatus and noticed this right away. Good to know that this is a CCP issue and not my equipment. Bad to know that they haven’t done anything to fix it… Some times it seems better than others, but it would be very nice to have this resolved
Happening to me to. Noticed it a while ago (around previous expansion id say) also in a form of full-scene green-burn while in Jita trade hub. Whole station just starts to glow green. … anyhow id like to write, while investigating I concluded it has something to do with UI updates and user input, mostly by clicking the mouse anywhere… 100% reproducable. Also notice those blue-glow lines in the floors of Jita, bellow and arround ship deck… on mouse click they should flash/flicker all over the place EXCEPT under the mouse cursor.
so, yeah, me to wishes the devs notice this and find/provide a solution. its nerve wrecking.
was able to catch few screenshots ingame and submitted a bug report.
in short: Nvidia GTX 1080 8Gb, 522.30 and 527.56 drivers, practically fresh Win10 system…
Lately I’ve noticed extra workload while docked. GPU starts venting. When you undock it’s less workload, GPU venting slows down. The irony - you have less workload undocked.
