gRPC Endpoint?

Please don’t jump on me everyone. It is only a question. The API is great. After awhile of playing with the UI part I am picking up how it works. Plus there are projects out there I can use for Go, python, etc.

Only question I have. For web front ends I understand the API of choice. For people who accesses the API from server tech or mobile tech…maybe even non-browser app tech, have you explored a gRPC API endpoint? Would make developing the API and documentation a one stop shop. One protobuff compiled out to different client languages. Would be interesting to see the performance too.

Your best bet would be making an issue here: https://github.com/esi/esi-issues/issues/new?template=feature_request.md. However, given how probably non-trivial it would be to implement, and the amount of resources allocated to ESI at the moment, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
