wrong you get a venture and the gear to equip it in the tutorial before you ever talk to a career agent.
you did not provide the proof…
Sorry but this time you get nothing.
So war it is then.
I left the onus on others to provide the proof,
Some one did, though i was sure you knew how to provide it as you just stated
ok,
Do you want cats or talos for that war?
How about drones?
Ammo?
My corp never has to undock btw to do our bussiness, which we can provide to you for this war.
currently we have 12,355 cats
and 1,008 talos
lol. no. Ore extracts at volume/time. Effort is not part of the equation. Someone who expends a half hour of “effort” into finding veldspar collects exactly as much veldspar per miner cycle as someone who didn’t have to even look. The half-blind cerebral palsy player who requires much more effort to push the buttons harvests the exact same amount per cycle as the cheater running a macro. The ores still had a time cost for the no-effort cheater, and still aren’t free. Maybe you’ve never experienced actual effort before, so don’t understand the difference?
I would not call over 1.5 trillion ISK value in BPO’s (using npc market pricing here) fully researched, without mentioning the other corporate assets…
a lack of effort.
That’s pretty easy. In math we call it proof by contradiction:
Your theory is that minerals are free. By definiton: free = they come at no cost at all, as already stated earlier.
Contract each person in this thread 100.000.000 units of the 8 basic minerals each (Trit, Pyerite, Isogen, Mex, Nocxium, Zydrine, Megacyte, Morphite). As they come at no cost at all to you, that should be an increadibly easy thing to do.
If, for whatever reason, that is a problem for you, there must be a cost involved. What kind of cost that is, is out of the scope of this proof, as by definition: free = no cost at all, so it’s sufficient to show that there is a cost incolved, not what kind of cost.
I will gladly accept 1000 Catalysts as payment for the 1bil you owe me then.
James maybe, but as my last post to this thread now that i have paid the recipient I will say this…
James or no James, Code does put effort into the things they do, whether that meant testing on SiSi or not as part of their planning sessions, effort, whether that meant applying their theory crafting on TQ till it worked, effort… Currin may have been the architect, but think he is only really a figurehead these days, a monarch whom i believe if he tried to assert his authority in a way beyond his current scope he would have some loyal followers, but maybe perchance would find that CODE no longer really needs him and the line of officers and regular troops could just as easily turn on him…but status quo, he really is more useful as a mouth piece and like a majority share holder without position has no say on the day to day activities any longer.
So give the Codies some respect, they play the game…and currently that respect would also include not bashing their leader without cause, the guy didnt even post here, one of his membership did.
EDIT: and btw people, the point of the OP, was to show me PROOF, not talk about it, not debate, argue, whine, etc to me or amongst yourselves…but show intangibly without a doubt PROOF…and in doing so really understand what this topic i created was really about…hint: it was not ISK, opportunity costs, or even really minerals.
OK.
I don’t think I need to prove it, because what I said was self evident, to me.
If it’s not self evident to you, can you explain what exactly it is you are getting it.
You asked how are minerals not free,
I have answered,
BECAUSE NOTHING THAT TAKES TIME AND EFFORT TO ACQUIRE IS FREE.
I also said I thought you were making a category mistake by using the concept ‘free’ in the question differently from the way it is used/defined in the rules.
I no longer think you are a troll, you certainly believe you have a point, one of us is very confused though, why not just tell us the answer you want and put us out of our misery.
No you cant go.
If I have misunderstood your question, the onus is on you to respond to me and say what I’ve misunderstood.
By turning round at the end and saying you wanted proof, not debate and argument etc (which can all be proof), you’ve redefined proof and wasted my time.
If you had said you wanted me to SHOW you proof I would have gone all RP
*flicks hair and points at the economy not collapsing because ore doesn’t just spawn in peoples hangers every day at 12 O’clock
*sighing, says
Unless your talking about something else, please explain?
Edit to add: don’t leave me hanging I’m invested now, I’ve acknowledged I might be wrong (ok not likely but possible).
I think I understand. The entire point of the thread was masturbation fodder for yourself. To make yourself feel good, not to educate or be educated, convince or be convinced. You could have told us at the beginning so we could have avoided it from page 1.
This is all very enraging. I will check the contracts in a hour or two and if I don’t find the Catalysts or the ISK in my wallet I have no other choice than to seek retribution.
Pro Tips x 2
1, Find out or work it out for yourself!
2, Be less patronising when asking and maybe you will get the response you are looking for!
My question to you is why do people need to show you proof when you are too lazy to find out yourself?
I refer you back to point 2.
This is not a good analogy because someone giving you something for free does not require any of your own time invested
Your time may be free (no life?), mine is not.
Period.
I’ll let the trolls have the last word because I am not so shallow that I think the last word is automatically right.
