Is real life political propaganda in in-game channels against the rules?

I am working on a machine learning program to detect alts though. I’m not sure it will be okay to run it in real time, but the idea is that most people have some pretty unmistakable speech patterns. So training the model on logged transcripts should be allowed, and running it should also be allowed. It would at least tell you with some confidence if a person you were chatting with were an alt of some other person you have chatted with in the past.

That’s… incredibly dangerous. Point it at anyone who’s tagged EVE on Facebook or Twitter (with perhaps quite a bit of computing power), and you’ve got a pretty simple tool tool to dox people with.

I’m really tempted to say I wouldn’t care if it was pointed at neo-Nazis, but I’d be the idiot who thought this kind of tool would never be used against me, and I know my style is really easy to pick out. Meh, someone’s going to write it, now just need to learn how to confuse it (and tools like it) for purposes entirely unrelated to turning trade hub local into a troll pit. Simplest thing I can think of actually does break the EULA, which is to let someone else type. Or just copy random nonsense other people post in obscure corners of the Internet and have that be what goes into local. Or English → not English → English in Google Translate.

I’m not interested in doxxing people. I just want to know when I’m talking to someone I’ve already talked to before.

Could it be used for that? Maybe. I guess. But I doubt it. The kind of chat that happens inside EvE is very different from the stuff that happens here or elsewhere. It would be stupid to try and get results from one training set and apply it to another,
