I have initiated the first series of conversations to what will likely a bigger and longer path towards a more connected Humanitarian action across New Eden.
Outside of the affairs of Gallente, I will post another pledge, one directed to all of New Eden, to bring together like minded organizations for Humanitarian progress and organization.
Excellent. I want to look into the history of Capsuleer-led humanitarian efforts (if there ever have been any) to see if there are any insights or lessons to be learned.
With Kiriona I will look to see if there is a history of any capsuleer lead or capsuleer assisted Humanitarian efforts. But I suspect we are in virtually uncharted territory in regards to this.
As this is something new and I do admire the vision of this. A good first step in initiating the conversation. Though I, and probably others, would like to know with whom. I would like to know what, at this point, would you see this as outreach as being? What is your plan. Mind at this point it does not have to be a full fledged one. A rough outline as to what and how you this idea coming to together.
I operate best when I have even the roughest of plans to give me a good guideline to what is expected.. Otherwise I can go down unneeded rabbit holes..
I will definitely get back you about that when I complete my write up for a separate pledge and call to action for an international humanitarian capsuleer organization.
I think some initial research needs to be done on my part.
Two significant corporations or organizations I can think of in my capsuleer career has been:
Signal Cartel
Arataka Research Consortium [ARC]
I am sure there are more and I think the important thing is highlighting all or most of these organizations and bringing them to the table.
Baseliner Organizations have also been instrumental:
We started as an initiative of the Intaki Liberation Front, responding to crises at home caused by the CEMWPA conflict, but our people have also responded to events further afield.
Suresha Bataav of the ILF actually gave a great summary of our record, not long before we registered as a corporation in our own right in YC122.
Our volunteers continue to great work, so if you’d like to know more, please reach out to us.
Thank you everyone for the history, collaboration, and resources. Clockwork and our allies are currently working in and around Alparena to address the recent attacks in the Vel-Cérisier Metro Area. We are also coordinating support efforts for Intaki refugees throughout Syndicate to aid civilians trying to escape the escalating aggression from State forces. I didn’t expect that the idea of “we need someone really good at humanitarian causes” to become relevant this soon, but there we go. I really hope someone who has the ear of Moreau’s administration may see this and consider deploying Senator Tenzin and the Capsuleer-led efforts that have been shared above to stop any more unnecessary collateral damage. I know President Moreau is Intaki themself and it already appears to be reflected in their push for amnesty. Perhaps this is a good opportunity to show unity not just on the battlefield but planetside.
If I might.. The character is identified as They or Them. Whether one agrees with that or not. It is actually immaterial. CCP or rather now FC has made the decision to introduce a character that is either binary fluid or at the very least is not cisgendered. Referring to the character as them or they would be proper. Just pointing out what the character is..
