Hi can I ask for a feature? I really like that your program tracks open orders and unlike ESI can tell when it first saw an order.
I wanted to make a column that tracks how much volume an order makes per day.
But there is no way to work with dates from what I can tell, can you please make a “Days Since Issued” column or “now()” function and some way to work with date columns as an Int?
Please make a feature suggestion on GtiHub: Issues · GoldenGnu/jeveassets · GitHub
Ok so how can I get it to track my assets or wallet? I literally see nothing at all under it, and I really have no clue how to do it or if I need to put it all in manually
You need to add the character and corporations you want to track:
https://wiki.jeveassets.org/faq#add_charactercorporation
Then you need to do Update > Update… (each time you want new data from eve)
Let me know if need any additional help

I can’t find a solution to this, and I’ve tried updating and reinstalling Java, as well as re-downloading and extracting JEA, but still no joy. All of my tokens expired (again, which I know isn’t your fault, it’s CCP being CCP) but when I try to re-add, after logging in, selecting a pilot, and approving access, it shows the following error. Current version Google Chrome, Java, and JEA.
Edit: Selecting “Use eve.nikr.net” allowed me to update characters.
The link isn’t for https, but, something, maybe chrome or maybe an chrome extension is changing the link to https, which isn’t supported by the micro server used by jEveAssets. It’s perfectly reasonable to access localhost via http in my opinion. However, the workaround is for exactly that, whenever the localhost solution isn’t working, so it’s all good.
Hello,
I have ised jEveAssets for a couple of years - no problem. A week ago I reinstalled the Windows and the Eve. Started JEveAssets and all the transactions I see are for the last 2 months. What am I doing wrong? Please help
ESI have limited history. Usually around 3 months or 10000 entries whatever is lower (it varies a bit between endpoints).
Unless you have a backup of the directory where jEveAssets stores data, jEveAssets can only show you what is in ESI.
If you did not format the hard drive there will be a backup in the window.old directory.
Thanks, Is this a recent change? Before I had the whole history. And I did not make any backups.
No, that is the way it have always been, but, jEveAssets stores the history in the location linked above. When you reinstalled windows you deleted that data (unless you didn’t format).
well, it seems I cannot do anything to restore my transactions history. Do you know by any chance another program or option? It was useful for the trading. Now I do not know at what price I bought an asset 3 months ago.
You deleted the data. jEveAssets gets all the history available. The data no longer exist. So, sadly you’re out of options. Formatting your hard drive is a very permanent.
yes, learning lessons the hard way. Now i start the history again. Thanks, man.
Sorry for your lose
