how to fix a launcher when its always checking host ?

It’s possible that you may have modified your hosts file at some point to include IP addresses for EVE Online that may no longer be valid. Please check your hosts file and remove any entries related to EVE Online.
 

  • Press the Windows key.
  • Type Notepad in the search field.
  • In the search results, right-click Notepad and select Run as administrator.
  • From Notepad, open the following file: c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts.
  • Make the necessary changes to the file.
  • Click File > Save to save your changes.
