Launcher stuck on Checking Gui Version

Hi, I’m trying to launch the game but it’s showing a blank screen writing Checking Gui Version.

I tried restarting. Reinstalling the game but still the same. I’m on Windows 10x64 by the way and I never had issues. It all started with it getting stuck while loading the jita station.

After a while it updates with the screen

Try deleting the launcher cache directory.

  • Please press the windows key + R to open a run window.
  • Copy and paste the following into the run window and press enter.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\cache\QtWebEngine

  • Right click on the folder named ‘default’ and delete it.
  • Start the launcher and see if the issue persists.
