Launcher stuck on Checking Gui Version

My Eve Launcher is stuck on GUI.

The Error is:

Please wait Checking GUI version…

before changing to

Can’t get GUI version info when offline

I’ve tried GM Mechanic [Mar '19] suggested fix but it’s not working.

Deleting the launcher cache directory and restarting

%LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\cache\QtWebEngine

Any suggestions apart from reinstalling?

Today’s MS update was the issue.
It was causing the router was for wherever reason to bottleneck the internet connection.

The Culprit:
2021-05 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 40.8 for Windows 10 Version 20H2 x64 (KBS003254)
