When I’m buying, building, or fitting new ships in a station where I have ship modules and minerals already, I’d like the option to “buy missing” in addition to a “buy all” option so I don’t have to audit my hangers and/or spreadsheet to make sure I’m not buying more than I need
As scanning works the same against all signatures and many signatures can move in between your scans (ships, drones) I see why only the results of the latest scan are shown; older results will often show outdated locations.
The game would have to keep results only of some signatures (relic, data, wh) and not of others (ships, drones) for this suggestion to be an improvement, but that makes probing less consistent when some unknown sigs disappear while others stay even when you don’t know the type of signature yet.
Suggestion: Add enter game with “Launch Group” from Character Screen
You can create a Launch Group to enter character screen selection instead of directly enter the game.
You can create a Launch Group to directly enter the game instead of going through character screen selection.
But you can’t use a Launch Group to directly enter the game from character screen selection
Enabling this would allow us to, for example: Enter game with 5…10 accounts with 1 click from character screen selection to the game instead of doing it 1 by 1 and would save a lot of time. I don’t know If it’s a bug or if it’s not an actual feature.
Suggestion: Please allow mutually-exclusive actions to share hotkey assignments.
Keywords: UI, hotkeys
For example: no ship can use both drones and fighters, so I should be able to map both “recall drones” and “recall fighters” to the same key, but I can’t.
Suggestion: Add support for multiple columns to Fleet Watchlist
Keywords: ui, fleet
Note: Useful for players with long watchlists, like Logi
As a logi player I always want to use my watchlist as much as I can, which means I end up having a narrow watchlist window as tall as my screen, in order to see as many other players as I can. It would be great if I could widen the window and have people be displayed on multiple columns, allowing me more flexibility in how I place that window and potentially being able to see more players at a glance.
Suggestion: when you change ammo, also add the optimal and falloff range to the selection box of all of the ammo you carry with you.
Keywords: UI, Ammo, Weapon
suggestion: automatically share fully scanned signatures to fleet.
keywords:ui, bookmarks
as a fleet leader i would like for all members of the fleet to see a fully scanned signature completed by any fleet memner instead of using bookmarks so they can determine if there is a new signature to scan.
make life easier for multiboxers or individuals in different groups to have access for certain hangars. It works fine with shared BookMarks, will works here too with ACL
Suggestion: (Multi)buy/(multi)fit into and out of containers
Keywords: UI, market, multibuy, multifit, hangar management
Note: Would make working with a crowded hangar much easier
I would like to be able to set a hangar container as the destination of a (multibuy) market order or source for a (multi) ship fitting command, so that I can easily find all of the items I just bought to put them into a hauler/etc and so that I don’t need to take things back out of the container into a crowded hangar to fit ships.
Suggestion: Selectable default for accepting Fleet Warp/Conduit/Regroup
Keywords: Fleet, Settings, Character Profile
Note: Options to select these after joining a fleet were added, but currently the default is always accept and can not be changed.
If you have a reason to not want to accept forced movement, you probably need this setting often, and you need it set before you join a fleet to prevent it being used against you. And currently you have to remember to do this Every, Single, Time. Because the rest of us honorable party people will send you fleet invites for surprise fireworks, because eventually that will work.
Because you wont remind yourself every time to make that fleet, to not accept ours, to not be typing (because hitting Enter might be timed with invite+accept), to not click anywhere near the center of screen as you undock (fleet invite accept button might pop up there).
Suggestion: Ability to camera-look at anomalies in probe scan window and system map
Keywords: dscan, cosmic anomaly, probe scan, system map
Note: Useful for dscan-ing a system
When I am trying to dscan a system, I can ctrl-c click to look at planets via the overview window. This allows me to quickly auto-pan the camera to dscan in the direction of those celestials with a reduced dscan angle. However, I cannot do the same thing with cosmic anomalies in the probe scan window or via the system map. I would like to be able to ctrl-c click an anomaly or celestial (station, planet) in the system map screen to point the camera in the direction of it; just like I can with any item on overview. Note: you can click the celestial in the map (now selected in overview) and then go to overview and click look-at, but you cannot do that with probe scanner window items.
Suggestion: Option to remember and attempt to restore the Watchlist from your last fleet
Keywords: Fleet, Settings, Character Profile, Watchlist
Note: Preferably with the previous colors, we already have options to clear our watchlist/colors that will work well with this.
Disconnects, crashes and downtime happens. help us all get quickly back up and running again.
somewhat challenging implementation ideas?
- need more than one restore attempt to make it good, they might not be back in fleet yet either
- would need to also check future fleet joiners against the previously saved (desired) watchlist
- removing a pilot from your watchlist manually / clearing the watchlist / leaving fleet again also updates the saved (desired) watchlist?
Suggestion: Make citadel hangar camera motions respect the ‘Dynamic Camera Movement’ options checkbox
Keywords: UI, options, camera, citadels
Currently undocking and/or switching ships causes the camera to fly around the inside of citadel hangars, which some people (including myself) find distracting and/or disorienting, and this isn’t able to be turned off by unchecking the ‘dynamic camera movement’ checkbox in the options when this seems like exactly the sort of thing that option should control (and the option tooltip even mentions docking and undocking!).
Suggestion: Add overview ship class icons to the beginning of rep broadcasts
Keywords: UI, broadcasts, fleet window
Notes: Much easier to see at a glance than shiptype names
Logi pilots need to be able to quickly identify ship types in broadcasts to prioritize reps; the current ship names are slow to read and often extend out of the window unless it is set unnecessarily wide, while ship type icons would be much faster and easier to absorb at a glance and are space efficient enough to be placed at the start (left side) of the broadcast for much easier viewing.
Suggestion: Add the Damage Reduction Factor to show info for missiles
Keywords: ui, missiles
Note: Important damage calculation information for missiles can’t be found in game.
The DRF is part of the missile tracking formula but isn’t represented anywhere in game. It would be great to not have to reference out of game resources
It would be beyond great to get ACL controlled hangars in player owned structures. This would be particularly useful for people who need to have characters in different corps for different reasons but still wish to build on them all, It would make tracking jobs/output/input so much easier. Atm having to either trade or deliver from one char to another is painful for someone who builds in very large quantites. (And I learned the hard way this week that a simple misclick when delivering items can result in a loss! just over 7bil of t2 comps into the either to a char that hasnt played in a decade)
Also alot of people cannot use or access corp industry jobs so having one hangar your alts can work out of just reduces the stress and headache of it all.
