Suggestion: Add Automatic Pay setting for installing Jump Clones in Wallet

Note: Already exists with customizable value limit for ‘Activate Jump Bridge’, copy paste this to work for Jump Clones costs would be very convenient

Suggestion: Offline autopiloting

Keywords: autopilot, afk
Note: Enables moving a single ship and cargo without being logged in

Autopilot is a slow AFK activity. Enabling it while offline (like PI, manufacturing) would allow a player to use their other character slots while waiting for the ship to arrive, adding more activity to space all while the ship and cargo is still at risk.

Suggestion: Option to disable writing game logs to disk, and ability to change EVE logging location.

Note: Eve writes a lot of logs, chat logs can be disabled, but game logs are forced on. If we never look at the logs this is very unnecessary SSD / Disk Activity. And being unable to specify where EVE logs are saved is inconvenient, and it is possible their location is cloud synced by default with Microsoft OneDrive which can cause serious problems.

Allow MTU’s to be launched by corp so they can be picked up by anyone in corp. Would make it easier when splitting mtu’s with 5 alts

Suggestion: A filter for chats that only shows messages with links in them.

Note: Hide chatter and only see contracts listings in certain special purpose chat like Haulers Channel.

Suggestion: Clearer indication of loot caches in abyssals

Note: The caches containing loot being red and a square seems like the main problem. For example one strategy tries to destroy all enemies before the loot caches. But enemies and loot caches kind of look the same on the overview. With everything else going on in abyssal + the fast paced nature this is a little thing that could be better?

Suggestion: Used crystal reverse engineering

Keywords: Crystals, Industry, Invention

Partially used crystals clog up inventories and can be a liability in combat. As an alternative, allow them to be reverse engineered, success rate = 100% minus crystal damage, producing a blueprint that requires the matching T1 crystal only to make a new T2, creating a new low-capital market.

It would be nice to filter out distant objects in cases where you aren’t sorting by distance.

Suggestion: ‘Mark as Favorite’ in Ship Hanger

Im new EvE online player (actively). I know for EvE since the 1st day, tried the game for a few times for a day or two - but it didnt worked for me back then, but now EvE is better than ever (from my perspective), so I am a regular now.
Game looks, feeling, UI, almost everything is a lot better than i remember. Seeing this topic “Little things/ Small QoQL sugesstions”, I as a fresh blood, have two small suggestions:

Suggestion: Update icons, set zoom distance

  1. Icons in the game are outdated. Games looks beautifull, but not the icons. I know many veteran players are used to current ones, and dont care about this segment of the game, but implementing new/updated icons (in term of clarity & quality), might help attract new players and create overall better game “feeling”.

  2. Zoom in the game is great. But, allow us to set our own min/max zoom distance within current parameters. Some times, I zoom too much (in or out) in the combat, and that bothers me. I belive that this is easy to implement. Just add slider, for example something like this:

min zoom /------X--------------------------------------X---------/ max zoom
X is player selected min/max distance

Suggestion: Option to keep/remember inventory filters after closing window

Note: Useful when inventory gets closed and reopened frequently

When I am doing inventory management in station or looting the field somewhere, the inventory window gets closed frequently (automatically or when juggling windows in station).
It is really aggravating to have to recheck filters that i choose to have active almost all of the time.

In the “Race for the Hives” event in the Agency, there is no indication of more factions to pick from beyond the ones you see when opening that page. Nothing tells you that you can scroll right for more options. There should REALLY be arrows pointing towards out-of-window content in all Agency pages.

Suggestion: Consolidate window types

Note: There’s a single window type with predictable behavior.

There are too many window types that don’t interact with each other correctly, i.e. a locked Market window opened after an Industry window with the same top left coordinate will move.

There are normal windows, e.g. Market, Assets, Structure Browser, that are stackable, resizable and lockable. There are unstackable, unresizable, unlockable windows, e.g. Agency, Old Map. There are unstackable, resizable, lockable windows, e.g. Industry, Faction Warfare. There are unstackable, resizable, unlockable floating windows, e.g. Skills, Solar System Map. There are windows that are just special, e.g. Fitting, Store. There are ad-hoc resizable, lockable windows that stop working when stacked, making them de facto unstackable, e.g. Spectral Vision Capture. There are windows that are stackable, resizable, lockable but change their size when locked and opened without being stacked, e.g. Character. I could probably go on.

Make all windows behave like the Market window.

Suggestion: More expiration dates for bookmarks

Note: Add more options for expiration time for bookmarks.

Ideally there would be a slider with premade slots like the d-scan range, but if thats too much work just add couple more options and field to hand type in exact time.

Current expiration times are either 3 hours or 48hours, both of which are not really useful for bookmarking wormholes. There are no 3h wormholes, and the only 48h wormholes are C6 wandering which are very rare (Omitting the fact that their max lifespan is actually 53hs). At least please add following additional options that would fit the max possible lifetime for most wormhole types:

  • 5 hours
  • 18 hours
  • 26 hours

Adding these 3 options would cover about 95% possible use cases in j-space.
This change would alleviate the strain on current bookmarking limits if increasing number of max online bookmarks is too demanding technically.
