I use a bling fit Loki T3 Strategic Cruiser to run all of the Level 4 Epic Arcs and it works great. It can also be re-fit with Covert Reconfiguration for exploration and Interdiction Nullifier for traveling through hostile space if needed.
Torpedoes just got a buff not long ago and are pretty decent now if you are going to train missiles.
