Root of “marauders in hi-sec” problem is that they for some reason equip expensive FACTION modules.
Which attracts gankers.
Truth is you DON’T need faction modules for lvl4 missions or DED complexes on a marauder.
Before anwering, I checked KB for Golem’s losses in hi-sec for last few days and ALL of them were fitting expensive FACTION modules which could easily be replaced with formidable T2 alternatives.
In your case - you DON’T need in hi-sec PVE that fancy bastion 1bil worth for sure!
To be honest, there was one “kinda” T2-ish Golem with only Dread Guristas launchers 300mil worth total, but… that Golem had almost NO RESISTANCES, which significantly decreased efforts cost for gankers.
So, in conclusion, all Golems were DESERVED losses. Gankers did GOOD when teaching people how to not to!
You shouldn’t fight at all. You only need to accept some simple facts:
Different people can have different opinions, that doesn’t mean they somehow work against you. But they have every right to disagree with you.
There are people that have a lot more experience and knowledge than you have and they can see reasons for CCPs decisions that you can’t see.
EVE is just a game and there is not a single reason to get upset about anything. You trade lifetime for fun here. If you don’t experience fun being here, take a break, breathe some fresh air, touch grass and enjoy sunshine. And then come back and try again.

to TAX everything that moves or thinks, I have even less work than before.

I could fly polarized and it would make no difference.
the math is brutal.
TO survive 30 sec of 20K DPS you need 600K EHP.
Anything less will not work.

There is a pool for marauders pilots who believes that Buff had to stay.
The Bastion stuff I called it day one, as a liability.
A costly attractor, in a Paper tank ship.
I Earned it.
I could have sold it for 1B.
My Paper Tank Marauder would have died the same way,
the fact it was there is just a magnet to people that honestly thinks they are a liability. At least they should triple your resists. All of them.
But their functionality falls under the “nerf bat” introduced in 2021.
If I flown with two A-type invuln of 1B each, instead, the loot on paper would be even better. So don’t make it an excuse to avoid
expressing your vicinity in the Marauder “Buff” fight.

If you fly a Marauder and want to help, post a pic of your Marauder there. Even if it’s only 400k EHP…
Why do you insist on fighting obvious facts presented to you by others who know better than you? Your best bet is to join a teaching corporation like Eve Uni, stay out of expensive bling-fit marauders and FFS stop running missions so near a ganker hot spot like Jita.
Or, keep doing dumb stuff and complaining that FC and the players who try helping you are part of a conspiracy to kill your game enjoyment.
Because if the ganker used catalysts or coercers to gank you, then he would have to bring that many.
The ganker brought more powerful and more expensive ships to gank you. Which is exactly what all antigankers wants us to do. But in reality, when they get ganked it is still wrong, because in the end, all they need is excuse.
I don’t think you would be fine with any number (even if you claim otherwise). Even if it took them 100 accounts/players you would still whine.
I’m the only guy that can say to have survived a 15+ gank.

If they only need 9 ships to do the work… it means that
Marauder tank has effectively gone down more then 100%
in this short span of time.
Now I am contacting Marauders players ganked to try have their voice heard in the matter also. We all know you are responsible for single handedly kill the triple XLASB Marauder, and voting against
any Marauder buff, for whatever reason. So I don’t expect really nothing from you… You’ve done enough damage…
You being a Dev yourself or a Dev friends at Fenrir also means your vote weights 1000X the vote of a normal player…

I’d like to know the perspective from Mike Azariah, even if he’s not in the CSM anymore, he should have a bit more insight of what has been going on there in the past four years..
I’ve had gank attempts on my marauder a few times, none had any extenders on it even though I should have travel fit it going through Gheth, back before the recent gate changes. I survived those times, I’m sure one day they will get me…but I do not think marauders should have an extender bonus. May I point you to this post Rich - poor gap widen. And yes, Devs have weight to their decisions, it’s their game, they get paid to make it, we only play it.
