I’ve had a vision in my head for well over a decade at this point but never have I been able to get far enough for it to matter until now. So, with the rise of LLM’s and their usefulness in generating code (poopoo them all you want… they’re genuinely handy tools) I’ve been working with the likes of Claude, glm, deepseek, kimi, gpt and attempts at smaller qwen models locally to generate my vision of managing industry amongst friends. The model is geared towards single boxers and getting many involved instead of managing your own industry lines amongst your army of alts. So the target audience here is an actual corp that wants to take some actual risks and get fellow spai’s involved in their industry adventures.
Back in the day we had the likes of LMeve which I drew inspiration from and there were a couple of others that were ok but did their one thing great. No one seemed able to get to a comprehensive suite to help manage the life cycle. Finding profitable items, investigating their volume, assigning to a corp mate, purchasing materials, tracking sales, dividing the loot. These are the things we aim to provide with mop. It’s not done yet but it has enough in it that I felt I’d see about interest. The app is fully open source although I’m not really taking much feedback as I still have a slew of functionality planned. It’s not graphically appealing, just a simple business app that gets the job done.
It’s key features:
1: Calculates every possible blueprint in the sde (even unbuildable ones…) and publishes the results
2: Filterable opportunity list
3: Easy assignment with skill checked blocks to keep from assigning something to someone without the skills
4: 2 Phase assignment so you can keep your builders at bay while you make final preparations
5: Opportunities are narrowed by actually owned blueprints (except t2 which shows everything)… I may change this as it just bit me in the butt this month
6: Estimated costs locked in after the task is finished (this will change to actual prices in a future milestone)
7: Encrypted tokens at rest - we take token security very serious and only decrypt your tokens when we need to use them.
8: Fully open source with k8s manifests for 2 environments (more deployment options coming soon)
This is the core of what I’ve been trialing with my corp for the past 3 months. I’ve gotten some generally good reviews of the slop and I’m fully open about the fact that I didn’t write this thing… r3r4um did… I just guided it.
Cons:
1: The deployment model is way way too enterprisey 
but I was putting the LLM’s to the test
2: It’s got some sharp edges
3: You’ll see 
I don’t have an instance up that I’m willing to share, maybe later… but you can check out the branch behind this pr: #400 - feat: add non-Kubernetes deployment support - mop - r3r4um and try the systemd or docker methods therein… let me know how far you get as I haven’t had time to test it (hence it not being merged).
