FYI the only ship that can launch 10 drones at once in the entire game is the Guardian Vexor.
How much does it costs?

Launch no, but can control such number when someone will give you control over his 5 drones. There is command for drones called assist.

Back in the day, most ships could field 10 and some could field 15+. They ended up being lag bombs so CCP changed drone interface and ship bonuses to damage and HP. Effectively you have the same equivalent firepower.
There was a trick to fit 10 heavy drones to any ship with at least 25 m3 of drone bay too.

the real reason the drones were changed from numbers to damage and hitpoints was the moro’s and carriers that could field 30+ drones at the time and a few moro’s launching 35 drones each lagged the system out massively
