Screenshots, but I have been in two fights now where the most vocal parties was WER4 and Jita Holding. Hence my comments above.
So I am not part of leadership, don’t really want to be, but I am extremely vocal if somebody on our side says something in local other than gf o/. There is nothing wrong with banter, but keep it civil I say. See you guys in space… this thing is long from over
For me I see it like this, everything in Eve costs ISK. It’s either outright ISK expenditures, or ISK lost from losing something. If you don’t have the resources (i.e. time, pilots, etc.), to protect and defend what you have, you need help from somewhere. Hiring Mercenaries or paying off the attacker isn’t cheap either. I do subscribe to their “Security Package”. I will admit that I was a bit skeptical at first as you should always be in Eve. In my experience so far, the service is as advertised and they do exactly what they say they will do. There isn’t a long list of obligations or requirements either. They respond quickly, when notified that you need their services. You may never need help but, to quote Charlie Fodder in the “Clear Skies” movies, “we need some backup”, and for me, they’ve been exactly that.
Thanks for the insight, Kane.
I agree, banter is fine as long as it stays civil. Might be hard to determine sometimes, because different people might rate “civil” differently.
I have some screenshots myself. Maybe we can leave it at that for now. Maybe remind our buddys to keep it civil on a general level and if things don’t improve on that end we can exchange the screencaps in a private channel and talk to our buddys? Just an idea, it’s cool if you decline, too. But i really think fights in eve should happen on grid, nowhere else.
Actually no you don’t have a choice in the matter, it is my decision who my friends are not yours. All you get to decide is who your friends are - Kapish?
