Skill reads at level 1 you can place buy orders in the same system and at level 2, 5 systems across, limited to same region.
I am level 2 in marketing and it won’t let me modify a sell order 1 jump across. What am i missing here?
You require the Day Trading Skill to modify orders remotely. Marketing is just to create orders remotely. It’s a 12.5m ISK skill book, and has Trade IV as a prerequisite (Marketing only requires Trade II).
The ability to remotely tweak an order does give you an advantage through increasing turnover - and it’s that that increases your profitability over time. The faster it sells, the faster you can reinvest the capital.
Hence it being a separate, more expensive, skill.
