They give nullsec players a source of passive income (for space they control) and give wormhole groups a reason to venture out of their hole for raids…and then return back with their booty to power their own industry.
They encourage fights (which are HEAVILY weighted around the home field advantage), and give something for people to defend (unlike ESS where the thief can run and nothing you can do to stop them…and then youre stuck burning out of the bubble for 5mins).
They need to change the way cans pops out which encourages griefing, but otherwise I think they are extreamly well ballanced around space control, time zone coverage, and profits for both NS and wormhole groups alike!
They also need to impliment a system where you can scan them to check their value…very frustrating getting no can or essentially nothing for sitting there for 10mins asking to be podded lol.
I just think they may need some tweaking, because I don’t think the best strategy for owners should be to self-steal, but the basic idea of these Skyhooks seems promising!

Not sure but maybe that’s intentional by CCP so to provide more opportunity for fights even if there is no reward to be gained, a form of randomness factor. Can’t comment of whether that’s good or bad just that it might be intentional (or maybe they didn’t consider yet).
Be sure to document your endeavours and largest raids and post them on the forums.
