[Testing] EveHub — From Profit Calculation to a Practical Production Plan

Hello, capsuleers!

If preparing a production run means opening several spreadsheets, checking Jita prices, calculating components, taxes, and invention separately, and then manually assembling a shopping list, I’d like to invite you to try EveHub.

EveHub is an industry planning tool for EVE Online. It does more than answer:

Is this item profitable to manufacture?

It helps you inspect where the costs come from, decide which components are better to manufacture or buy, and turn the calculation into a practical production plan.

Try the Working Example — No Registration Required

You can explore a complete preconfigured T2 production scenario without creating an account:

The example lets you:

  • inspect manufacturing cost, expected revenue, margin, and ROI;
  • compare manufacturing components in-house with buying them from the market;
  • compare a maximum-profit scenario with a time-aware scenario that also considers production time and slot usage;
  • review invention probability, expected attempts, and invention costs;
  • open the resulting production chain;
  • inspect production stages, the shopping list, and EVE Multibuy lists;
  • mark production steps as completed during the demo.

EveHub does not hide everything behind a single profit number. Material quantities, prices, taxes, invention assumptions, and build-vs-buy decisions can be inspected separately.

The example uses a fixed, dated Jita market snapshot, so its prices are not current market quotes. Progress changes in the demo are temporary and reset when the page is reloaded.

The purpose of the example is to demonstrate how EveHub explains a calculation and carries it forward into production—not to claim that every item in the example is currently profitable.

What I Would Like You to Check

While exploring the example, I would especially appreciate feedback on:

  • Is the cost, revenue, and margin breakdown understandable?
  • Are the build-vs-buy decisions easy to verify?
  • Is the difference between the maximum-profit and time-aware scenarios clear?
  • Does the invention plan contain enough practical information?
  • Would the production stages and shopping list be useful during a real production run?
  • Where does the interface feel unclear or require too many steps?

Using EveHub With Your Own Blueprints

Registration is required only when you want to create, save, and recalculate your own production scenarios.

The full application currently supports:

  • ME/TE, runs, taxes, structures, rigs, and System Cost Index;
  • material valuation using Jita sell orders or buy-order prices;
  • saved templates and scenario comparison;
  • build-vs-buy optimization;
  • production chains, stages, shopping lists, and EVE Multibuy;
  • offsets for materials already available in your inventory;
  • manufacturing and reaction slot planning;
  • T2/T3 invention;
  • ore reprocessing;
  • recalculation after market prices or production conditions change.

The intended workflow is:

Select blueprints → check the economics → compare build vs. buy → prepare the shopping list → launch and track production

EveHub cannot guarantee profit—the EVE market is far too dynamic for that. Its purpose is to help you test an idea faster and reveal costs that can disappear inside an idealized calculation.

Free Testing Access

If you want to test EveHub with your own blueprints, create an account on the main site and open:

Account → Access

The following testing coupons are currently available:

  • EVE-2JKACNTB — activates a testing access plan;
  • EVE-VA6FS3QM — adds operation credits for calculations and production planning.

Apply the access-plan coupon first, followed by the credits coupon. Each code must be activated separately.

No ISK payment is required to use these testing coupons.

Bug reports, questionable calculation results, and suggestions can be submitted through the feedback section inside the application.

The main question I would like to answer through this testing is:

What would EveHub still need before you could use it for a real production run?

Fly safe—and may your profit remain profitable after every component, tax, invention attempt, and production slot is accounted for.

EveHub is an independent tool for EVE Online players and is not an official CCP Games product.

How many minutes of your time did you spend to create this website using Perplexity, which anyone can make for themselves nowadays?

Anyone can generate a website. Building a reliable EVE industry tool behind it is a different task. EveHub includes manufacturing calculations, build-vs-buy logic, invention, market data, production chains, shopping lists, inventory offsets, and slot planning.

AI tools can help with development, but the real question is whether the product solves the problem correctly. If you try it and find an issue with the calculations or workflow, I’d genuinely appreciate the feedback.

how do you register? I have no account to sign into and the ‘start calculation’ buttons just lead me to a login screen. There is a ‘tab’ that says registration but it’s not clickable?

Thanks for reporting this! The Registration tab was incorrectly disabled in the local development version. We’ve fixed it, and you can now open the Registration tab and create an account.

EveHub testing update

I’ve added a working example that can be explored without registration:

https://evehub.ru/example

It includes a preconfigured T2 calculation, build-vs-buy comparison, invention planning, production stages, and shopping lists.

I’ve also updated the original post to better explain what can be tested in the example and what requires an account.

Feedback on the calculation breakdown and production workflow would be especially appreciated
